Round table on the valorisation and sharing of data in sustainable development

Participate online or onsite!

[Event in French]

With the new results-based governance approach, promoted especially since the adoption of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), data is a central element of sustainable development governance. This ambitious program, to be completed by 2030, is based on a multi-sectoral indicator framework to measure and evaluate progress. More and more tools are developing globally to inform decision-makers and citizens (eg: SDG 6 Data Portal on SDG 6 "Clean Water and Sanitation"). However, the creation of relevant and effective monitoring mechanisms for the monitoring of actions in the field raises many issues related to access, integration and standardization of data, as well as collaborations necessary to better exploit and use available data.

CentrEau and the EDS Institute are pleased to invite you to this roundtable with experts who have put in place important reference tools in the areas of water, health and biodiversity, to reflect on the issues related to the use of data, both for decision making and for monitoring citizens.

You can see the round table online: https://classevirtuelle.ulaval.ca/valorisationdonnees/. The video will then be put on our YouTube channel.
