Three New CentrEau Scholarships

Benjamin, Marco and Paul each earn a CentrEau scholarship.

Paul Celicourt, postdoctoral fellow, received the first CentrEau New Research Projects Grant ($10,000) for his project: Irrigarinati: A self-managed sensing system for irrigation management in horticultural farms in collaboration with prof. Alain Rousseau and Silvio Gumiere.

Benjamin Bouchard, MSc student, and Marco Alves, PhD student, both received a $900 CentrEau Student Outreach Scholarship to go to the AGU2019 Congress, in San Francisco. Benjamin presented on "Quantifying the Impacts of a Needleleaf Canopy on the Physical Properties of the Snowpack at the Local Scale" and Marco on "Forcing the Canadian Land Surface Scheme with ERA5 Reanalysis to Simulate Land-air Interaction Processes over Boreal Forests".
