A participatory and iterative decision support approach1-4 , mapping and integrating secondary benefits, has already been developed and tested in Quebec during a multidisciplinary pilot project in the borough of Beauport, Quebec. Inspired by this pilot approach adapted to the local context, the research project aims to adapt and optimize the successful SSANTO and UrbanBEATS tools for Canadian municipalities in a cold climate context.
