Summary:This webinar will present scientific advances on plastics and microplastics in the oceans and on the impacts on aquatic fauna. After showing, in various ways, that plastic is a major issue, the Saint-Laurent Challenge will be introduced. It is an initiative developed by Stratégies Saint-Laurent and PolyMer, aimed at raising awareness of plastics and its impacts and mobilizing municipalities, citizens. and recreational tourism companies in actions to reduce single-use plastic.
