March-April OIQ Journal: Our members stand out

One of the articles in the last issue of the Quebec's Engineers Association (OIQ) Journal is a portrait of Dominique Claveau-Mallet, collaborating researcher at CentrEau. Having received the prize for the best doctoral thesis in 2017 from École Polytechnique, then the Lieutenant-Governor's Medal for Youth, Ms. Claveau-Mallet continued her journey as a postdoctoral researcher at McGill University, studying microplastics - their detection, their environmental fate and their interaction with other contaminants - and decontamination with a slag filter. She was just appointed professor at Polytechnique Montréal: Congratulations, Dominique!

In a second article written by Clémence Cireau on engineers and climate change, the author talks about the analysis of Alain Mailhot, researcher at the National Institute for Scientific Research (INRS) of Quebec and regular researcher CentrEau, on precipitation data for the design of rainwater drainage networks.
